TrustTails is two things. First: $TAIL, a community SPL token live on Solana right now, with a fixed supply, revoked authorities, and nothing to hide. Second: TAIL Network, an independent Layer-1 blockchain being built on the Cosmos SDK — in development, not yet live. This page explains both, honestly.

Two separate things. Be clear on both.

Most confusion about crypto projects comes from blurring what exists today with what is being built. We will not do that. Here is the honest map.

Part 1: $TAIL Coin — Live on Solana

This is the community entry point. It exists today. Trading is pre-launch — there is no DEX listing yet. When that changes, it will be announced publicly in our official channels only.

Part 2: TAIL Network — In Development

TAIL Network is a separate, independent, sovereign Layer-1 blockchain being built on the Cosmos SDK. It is not on Solana. It is not an EVM chain. It is not yet live. TAIL Network does not have a mainnet, a chain ID, a live explorer, or confirmed staking parameters — we will not invent those details.

The intention is that as TAIL Network is built, a bridge or migration path will allow the Solana community to move toward it. That is a plan and a direction — not a promise, not a date, not a guarantee. We describe it honestly as in development because that is exactly what it is.

Origin

A meme as an entry point, not a ceiling

When Bitcoin launched in 2009, most people who heard about it thought it was a joke. Digital money that existed only on the internet, invented by someone using a pseudonym, with no government backing and no central authority? Absurd. A decade later it was a trillion-dollar asset class.

Dogecoin began as a literal meme — a Shiba Inu dog on a bright yellow background, launched in 2013 as a parody. It became one of the most widely recognised cryptocurrency projects in the world and its community-first culture became a template countless projects copied.

We are not claiming TrustTails will follow either trajectory. That comparison exists to illustrate one thing: a meme is a format, not a destiny. The format gets attention. What you do with that attention is everything. TrustTails started as a meme to be noticed. Everything that comes after has to be earned, not claimed.

The name holds the philosophy: Trust is the thing the crypto industry has a documented problem building. Tails is the other side of the coin — the risk, the uncertainty, the long road — the stuff most projects hide. We show you both sides. That is the point.

Why the format is honest

A meme coin carries zero inherited prestige. It cannot borrow credibility from an institutional backer or a famous founder. Every bit of trust must be built from scratch, in public, through verifiable on-chain evidence. That constraint is not a weakness — it is the most honest starting point available in crypto right now.

What we revoked from day one

The mint authority and freeze authority on the $TAIL token were revoked at launch. No one can create more tokens. No one can freeze your wallet. Why build an independent chain — and what does that actually mean?

TAIL Network is being built on the Cosmos SDK. Here is what that means in plain language — and what we will not claim about it.

What the Cosmos SDK is

The Cosmos SDK is an open-source framework for building independent, application-specific blockchains. It is not Solana. It is not Ethereum. Projects that build on it create their own sovereign chains — they set their own rules, control their own upgrades, and are not dependent on the decisions of another network's validators or developers.

Why a project might choose it

Sovereignty. A token on Solana exists inside Solana's ecosystem — its future is partly determined by decisions Solana's developers make. An independent Cosmos SDK chain controls its own logic, economics, and upgrade path. That is the appeal: no dependency on another network's roadmap. This is the direction TAIL Network is oriented toward — in development.

What we will not claim about it

TAIL Network is in development. It does not have a live mainnet, confirmed validators, a chain ID, an explorer, staking parameters, or a confirmed launch date. We will not invent those details. When TAIL Network reaches milestones, they will be announced publicly — not back-filled into a page that made them up in advance.

The form, mechanism, and timing are in development and genuinely unknown. What we can say is that the community that starts on Solana is not being left behind — it is the foundation the network is being built for.

Undersell and overdeliver

Intentions, not promises

We write "our intention is" and "the plan is" rather than "we will" and "by Q3." The difference is not legal caution — it is honesty. Plans change. Technology changes. Describing an intention as a promise is a small lie that compounds over time. We will not do it.

Show the work

Is $TAIL on Solana and TAIL Network the same thing?

No — they are two separate things. $TAIL is an SPL token live on the Solana blockchain right now, with a verifiable contract address. TAIL Network is a completely separate, independent Layer-1 blockchain being built on the Cosmos SDK — it is not on Solana, and it is not yet live. The plan is for a bridge or migration to connect the two as TAIL Network is built, but they are architecturally distinct projects.

What is the Cosmos SDK and why does it matter?

The Cosmos SDK is an open-source framework for building independent, application-specific blockchains. Unlike being a token on an existing network, building on the Cosmos SDK means TAIL Network would be its own sovereign chain — controlling its own rules, economics, validator set, and upgrade path without depending on Solana's or any other network's decisions. Projects choose this path because of that sovereignty and customisation. TAIL Network is in development using this framework — it does not have a live mainnet yet.

Is TrustTails a legitimate project or just a meme?
